Taylor’s Bridge Ecological Assessment, Management and Restoration Plan

Client: Delaware Wild Lands, Inc.
Timeline: 2016-2018
Location: Odessa, DE

Sarver Ecological, LLC conducted bird, amphibian and reptile, insect, and vegetation surveys and created a comprehensive and detailed GIS mapping project for over 4,500 acres of the Client’s lands spanning the tidal marsh to upland ecotone. We are developing a georeferenced and prioritized long-term management and restoration plan for the Complex. Restoration goals will account for sea level rise, invasive species such as Phragmites, and targeted habitat creation for a number of focal species, from northern bobwhite quail to monarch butterflies.

What our Client Says:

“Sarver Ecological is not your run-of-the-mill consultant. They are an exceptional team of professionals committed to the highest standards of research and field observation, always completing the promised deliverables while providing substantially more data, information, and context. Their results are exceptional.

Easy to work with, and equally adept at navigating scientific tomes as they are marshy mud flats, Sarver Ecological is highly skilled, technologically robust, and keenly observant about the environment.

They convey detailed biological classifications as well as ecosystem context to achieve robust results, enhanced ecological integrity, and a greater understanding of the depth and breadth of the current conditions as well as inspiration and insights for what could exist.”
